Overview
Echoes, Advanced Duplicate Finder for Lightroom, is a digital software product. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
The Free plan exists so you can test the plugin before purchasing Premium. We recommend running a small test scan before buying.
Refund eligibility
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if:
- The plugin cannot be activated after reasonable troubleshooting.
- The plugin does not run in a supported Lightroom Classic environment.
- You purchased by mistake and have not substantially used the Premium functionality.
When refunds may be declined
A refund may be declined when:
- The refund request is made outside the stated refund window.
- The issue is caused by unsupported software, unsupported operating systems, damaged catalogs, or local system restrictions outside the plugin's control.
- The Premium license has been substantially used for large scans.
- The request appears abusive, fraudulent, or connected to license sharing.
Digital product terms
Because this is a downloadable software product with immediate license access, refunds are handled differently from physical goods. Once the license has been delivered and used, refund approval may depend on the circumstances of the request.
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Before requesting a refund
Before requesting a refund, please try:
- Confirming that you are using Lightroom Classic, not Lightroom cloud.
- Running the plugin on a small selected set of photos.
- Checking that the plugin is installed through Lightroom's Plug-in Manager.
- Verifying that your license email matches the checkout email.
How to request a refund
Email support@colrbent.com with:
- Your purchase email.
- Your order number, if available.
- A short explanation of the issue.
- Your Lightroom Classic version and operating system, if the request is technical.
Processing time
Approved refunds are usually submitted to the payment processor within 5 business days. Your bank, card provider, or payment platform may take additional time to post the refund.
License status after refund
If a refund is issued, the associated Premium license may be deactivated. You may continue using the Free plan under the Free plan limits.
